Badlands was established in 2012 by Deidre Novella as a safe space for all, but especially for queer expression. In 2024 Deidre passed Badlands on to staff in order to focus solely on Afterworld Organics, her non-toxic haircare line with an emphasis on eco-friendly packaging.

 

Now under new ownership and a new business structure, we proudly carry on in that spirit. As a team of independent stylists, we are committed to upholding the values that started Badlands.
